Small shop? Come learn from a master researcher the free and low-cost solutions to a variety of prospect research problems common in small shops. Years of experience as a one-person department or as a senior analyst at the university level, Christine knows how to maximize your time and reap great benefits with prospect research in any organization.
Presenter Christine Tabak is the Senior Research Analyst at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement (UICA). Prior to joining the UICA, Christine was Director of Research and Prospect Management at Cornell College. She spent her first four years in the field in a one-person department looking for new prospects, building portfolios, conducting wealth screens, and analyzing data on a modest budget. She began her career as a strategic planner and marketing analyst for a computer manufacturing company. She is the past membership chair for the Apra-Great Plains. Christine worked her way through college as a work-study student at M.I.T.’s Center for Space Research, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian from Wellesley College. Her postgraduate studies were in medicine. When not birding, Christine enjoys a good cup of tea, and is learning SQL and Mandarin (though the latter is a daily struggle).
