The position is responsible for researching and writing grant proposals for both unrestricted and restricted funds. This position will research and coordinate grant submission that will enhance existing Tanager Place programs and will help establish new initiatives. Will be responsible for providing reports to program funders as required. This position is part of the Department of Advancement team and will assist with all activities that further the mission of Tanager Place.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years relevant experience. Qualified individual will possess excellent writing, analytical and research skills. Applicants must be very detail oriented, extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects. Must be familiar with fundraising/grant databases and able to work independently. Ability to manage time and priorities is essential.
This is an office based position. Hours are generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with occasional community events. Must be flexible with the schedule to meet the needs of the position.
